Description
19th-century French graphics
The exhibition offers a glimpse of the great 19th-century French engraving season between Romanticism and Impressionism, with papers from both collection Timpanaro and from a private collection.
In the halls of Palazzo Lanfranchi there will be representative works of the protagonists of modern art (Corot, Delacroix, Manet, Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec and Pisarro) next to perhaps less famous authors, nevertheless of extraordinary charm.
During the exhibition period there is a rich calendar of concerts and conferences devoted to some aspects of the Nineteenth century in France, such asgraphics and literature.
The Graphics Museum at the Palazzo Lanfranchi is located in Lungarno Galilei 9.
