Musicastrada Festival

Musicastrada, a travelling festival of quality music, was created by musicians, sound engineers, graphic designers and publishers.

The aim of all these professionals is to promote true musical culture on all levels, the kind of music that does not generally find an outlet in the mass-media: from blues to jazz, from ethnic to folk to local.

The festival is held from July 14th to August 18th and features a series of free, open-air concerts by artists from all over the world who play up close and personal with the audience, as part of a long journey exploring an alternative territory, welcoming, steeped in tradition, typical products and cuisine.

The national photography competition "Fotografando la Musica" runs in conjunction with the festival and is the open to everyone. Photographs taken from anywhere in the world are accepted, obviously as long as they are inspired by the theme of music.
